The California Wave scored four consecutive goals during the second and third periods to defeat the Los Angeles Junior Kings, 4-3, in an 18U AAA hockey game at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, CA, on Sunday, Sept. 21. Jordan Thomas scored twice for the Wave, which also got goals from Josh Rasmussen and Zach Fridella. Wave goaltender Vincent Albanese made 31 saves, including several big ones in the final two minutes. Wayne Ravdjee, Mitchell Hughes and Ryan Frost scored goals for the Junior Kings, who outshot the wave 34-17.
